Social Responsibility

As founders of Urban Humanity, we are committed to conducting all of our operations and business in a socially responsible and sustainable manner.

In 2007, Urban Humanity was created with the philosophy that our core values as a company should directly reflect those held by us personally and core to our community. Our ambitions run deeper than simply creating amazing products that look great on you and make us money. Contributing positively to the community around us is equally important.

We believe in and are committed to:

Sourcing locally at every opportunity with like-minded companies.
Urban Humanity creates lasting relationships with vendors as close to home as possible — from our screen and paper printing needs to the materials we print on. Our products have never been, nor will ever be made in a sweatshop.

Environment. Environment. Environment.
We love the world we live in and we make every attempt to keep it green. A number of our products are printed on organic materials utilizing water-based inks that have a low impact on the environment. Our packaging, from our shipping boxes to our hang tags — are not only recycled, but recyclable. We continue to strive to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to environmental protection.

Giving back to our community.
From the get go, our mission has been to make a positive impact on the community around us. We continually look for creative ways to support sustainability, social justice and address other vital needs in our community and contribute a portion of our profits to community based-organizations and causes.
